    AMERICAN CRAFT BEER COMPANY NOW RECRUITING FOR FULL AND PART TIME SALES MANAGERS


    Bored of Selling Beers that all taste the same?

    American Craft Beer Company need Sales Managers in London & The North

    We’re looking for great sales people to join the team to help us sell Beer

    OTE £35k pro rata


    Assume we have the same attention span as the average Bar Owner when it comes to listening to pitches so, tell us how you see the category and how you would sell Craft Beer in the on-trade. Send this and a CV to ed@americancraftbeercompany.co.uk 


    THE ROLE (What we need you to do)

    To achieve listings for craft beer products in the on-trade

    To undertake training sessions with operators and their managers on the category and products in order to enhance rate of sale

    To support our on-trade promotional activity as appropriate. Eg Sampling, trade shows etc



    THE PERSON
    (Personality, skills and attributes we need)

    Independent – must be able to operate and achieve results with very little supervision. This isn’t about 9 to 5 working, it’s about being in trade when sales can be closed.

    Resilience  – capable of walking into a bar and establishing who the decision maker is. Being thick-skinned enough to walk into the next bar with the required energy and passion for Good Beer, when you have just been knocked back in the last call.

    Determination with Emotional Intelligence – enough tenacity and persistence to close a sale, coupled with enough Emotional Intelligence to recognise when you are on the cusp of pissing someone off.

    Genuine passion for sales – not ‘The Apprentice’ definition of passion where we all run about like headless chickens, desperately trying to find where the next sale is coming from…….but a strategic targeted approach where we are passionate, because we genuinely believe that they need our range in their outlet.

    Entrepreneurial – not the ‘Dragons Den’ definition where they just keep coming up with ideas and pitching them to us to see if something lands, but someone who uses the knowledge they gain whilst doing the job to spot opportunities to sell more beer.

    Self development – someone who continually looks for ways to improve their own performance and……….sell more beer. Someone who recognises when they can,  and when they can’t influence a situation. When they can, they go on and do what they need to do for a positive outcome…….sell more beer, and where they can’t they know when to throw in the towel and move on.

    Experience & Knowledge –  A good understanding of the on-trade drinks industry, coupled with a passion for Craft Beer.
